Dr. Raúl Suárez has given an invited Keynote Talk at the LatinX in Artificial Intelligence Social (LXAI) event, co-located with the 27th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Statistics (AISTATS), in Valencia, Spain, on May 2nd, 2024. The title of the talk was “Core Capabilities for Collaborative and Autonomous Robots”, and it included the presentation of several research topics developed at the Institute of Industrial and Control Engineering, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (IOC-UPC), related with collaborative and autonomous robots, as well as the presentation of some ongoing related research projects including the project AI-Powered Manipulation System for Advanced Robotic Service, Manufacturing and Prosthetics (IntelliMan).
